BTW you don't have to send the same fabric to everyone. Use what you have. We often have leftover fabric from projects and they can be used here.
So you can plan ahead for Future fabric swaps if you want to join, here are some we will do:
May--will be Patriotic/Red-White and Blue,
June--Summer theme
July--Flowers
August--Farm theme--animals, tractors, chickens etc.
September--Fall themes
October--Country Kitchen--recipes, aprons, utensils, cakes, tea, coffee etc
November--Christmas
December--Snowmen

I traveled to South Korea and Japan a few years ago. Before we left I researched where I could buy material. Tokyo has a whole street devoted to the sewing arts. I went a bit wild, but my sweetie was nice enough to carry the bags. Navigating the rail system there was a challenge too.
On the way home all our clothes were in the smaller suitcase and the larger one had the material and souvenirs.
Some of the Asian prints are so lovely I'm afraid to cut them in case I do something wrong. Now, I have an idea and will begin using them.
