Many people are sick.
Masks might help us stay well.
I have been stitching away.
I found a good pattern that works well and sews up quickly. It fits too.

Ugh, I don't sew. I wish I did. I don't even have a sewing machine. What kind of farmgirl I'm I?!!

Joan, I used to compare myself to other Farmgirls who actually had farm animals and fields to plow. But we each live our Farmgirl life with what we have and where we are. Farmgirls make fabulous cards, too!

Wearing a bandana is helpful. Just wanted to say I hope you all stay safe! Hand stitch two squares together and turn, iron, use string to tie on . Doesn't need to be fancy just useful!

FYI - some masks are being rejected according to one quilt shop message. The fitted masks are the preferred and directions need to be followed: new cotton fabrics, both cottons and flannels must be prewashed. I am going to make some for my family, but need to order some flannel for the lining.

I just read you can use a piece of 'Pelon' inside the masks as an extra barrier.
I have not tried it yet.

Don't forget,, your local Veterinarian offices could use some masks too.
