While at the local Thrift last week, I came across this almost finished lap quilt..
All it needed was the binding stitched down,,

Well I finished it today,, just debating on whether I should run some "ties" randomly through the squares.. the quilt is only 36x36,, but I think it would wash better if it had stay ties to keep it in place...

I'd ask Kiki,, but she wants to go back to her nap! lol!

Maybe Kiki wants to be covered with it! Nice find.

Great find Grace and now the quilt is no longer unloved. It would make a great topper for a picnic table. I like to layer that size of a quilt or topper over a table cloth or maybe several cloths of different sizes, colors, and prints.

Super cute Grace! That quilt is now loved and happy to be finished. I agree with Sara. It would be so cute for your picnic table while your glamping!

Grace, I love the print on this little quilt you found! I agree that ties might be a great idea for keeping things all in place as well as add a little extra touch. You do find the neatest goodies on your thrift store adventures. I especially love the rooster motif for a perfect Farmgirl find!!

Well, I did the 'ties'.. so they would hold the lil quilt in place...
I had it on one of my sewing tables,, all folded nice and neat,, shortly there after,, Kiki found it too! and took a nap..
yep, the quilt gets a 2 paws up approvel.
