Some mornings are just slow getting going.. But then... there are Decisions...
Fig Butter,, Chocolate Lavender or Lemon Curd... oh which shall I choose?
Hope your decisions are easier...

Hi Gracie Grace,
We love it. Still pinching ourselves. I found 4 acoustic folk groups. One is right in my town. The others less than 30 miles. I don't have a Starbucks anywhere close but we have the Speakeasy coffee stop. It is designed in 1920's style, so cute. My neighbors Maui and Ruth (very big horses) are very friendly and quiet. Funny though, since we moved here I have met more Calees then Texans.

Well Nancy---sounds like you have found a wonderful community full of friendly people. So happy for you, but I can tell you are wonderful and friendly yourself. Flat Top is one of the most unfriendly communities that has ever been---I grew up there and there was never any friendship there Anyway---Grace when I get up all my decisions are about animal cleaning up and what to feed first. I have to clean the cat pot and pick up two dog pads. Then I clean up after the basement dogs. I have two dog feeding stations and three cat feeding stations to man. Then I feed the chickens, and birds at three feeders. Then I go to the goat barn and feed and then I go to the donkey barn and feed the donkeys. Then I walk the dogs. Up at 3:30 and hubby home at 2:00.Not much me time. Woe is me---LOL. I love it all. Also I have to carry in wood and keep the fire going. This is how I roll---and my breakfast is usually a peanut butter sandwich---no big decisions for me. And ladies forget Calees and Texans---you haven't lived until you've met West by God Virginians---honest to God hillbillies in God's country as my old holler friend called her county. Being silly of course. Have fun in all you do.

Hmmmm, maybe I would have to have some of each flavor! They all would kick toast up to something totally Royal Like!! LOL!!
Barbara, you do have a long list of morning chores with all of your critters! Our fur friends bring lots of love and laughs and that makes it all worthwhile.

What beautiful choices! Today, I would have picked the Lemon Curd to start. Then, at teatime it would have to be the Chocolate Lavender. Before bed time, the Fig Butter. These treats bring a little sparkle to the day! We can find magic in small ways, and really the little things are the big things.
Keep shining! Natalie
