I love playing with all the pretty Christmas papers that are in my collection so I thought it would be fun to do a tag swap for Christmas.
For this swap you will need to create 2 tags of any size for your partner. You may have as many partners as you like, just let me know the number when you sign up.
Sign-ups will go through December 1st. And the mail out will be December 15th. Please make sure you use the appropriate envelope when mailing. Most tags require a small padded envelope. If you do not have the correct one, your partner will more than likely have to pay the extra postage.

Julie, you are so correct about using a bubble envelope to protect the tags. The postal
machines can not always handle the bulkiness of thin envelopes and will chew them up
into pieces as happened to me when receiving my tags from the Halloween tag swap.

Ladies of you use a padded envelope remember that it will cost you almost $4 to mail each one. I know because I had to pay postage due to get some out of the post office tecently...twice.

Also, if you use a flat manila envelope it may or MAY NOT go through for $1.10. The postal
clerk told me it has to be perfectly flat (maybe if placed inside a blank card) or it can be
considered a package and will be the $4 Marilyn mentioned. I take mine to the post office
and to a postal clerk to make sure it is acceptable and pay the postage they require. Gone
are the good ole days when we could send things reasonably. If your items are perfectly
flat with no more than 1/4 inch thickness it should go through for the $1.10 in a 5x7 flat
manila envelope. The 5x7 bubble envelopes will be $3.50 to $4.50 depending on the
thickness of your items and the weight.
I would love to have joined in on this exchange but with the upcoming holiday too much
on my plate already with friends and family. Hope everyone enjoys this one, it is also
one of my favorite exchanges.

Yes a padded envelope will cost you more, but I had to pay $3.50 postage due for just an envelope in the last swap, so it is better to be safe than to have your partner have to pay basically the postage both ways which is very unfair.

Nicole, they can be about the size of a playing card or about 6-8 inches long by 2-3" wide. Some ladies decorate one side and others decorate both sides. The key is to keep your creation relatively flat while layering stuff on so it does not cost a fortune to mail it.
