Hi everyone! Time to get your partner however since we have 9, an odd number, we will send to a receiver and they will send to the next and so on. It will circle around so that no one is left out. Just make sure you touch base with the person YOU ARE SENDING TO ok??
I wish you all the most cherished Thanksgiving Holiday. Treasure your family time, hold them dear to your heart. This week at my daughters school a friend of hers got up yesterday morning and went to wake his mother up as they were late to school. She had died through the night leaving 2 young sons, no immediate family nearby. The boys did not know what to do so they caught the bus, went to school sobbing until our secretary could find out what happened. A terrible situation. My heart is so sad. So love on your family and make sure they always have someone they can call in case of emergency.

....and here it is 2 months until 2020!!! Can you believe it??? Argh!!! How the year has rapidly passed by! We are in the month of reflection and thankfulness ladies. So for this months ATC how about we create an ATC depicting a simple pleasure you ate thankful for?? It can be food, an activity, spending time with family, a movie, even walking a dog! Your favorite simple pleasure you are thankful for during the year 2019!
Sign up's until November 20, partners assigned Nov. 21st and mail off by the 30th, ok?
Have fun and don't stress too much as it is a busy time for many!!
For those who are new to ATC Cards here is what it's all about:
Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create, trade and collect art at organized "swap" events, either in person or online. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5" x 3.5". Artist Trading Cards are the same format as modern trading cards (hockey cards or baseball cards). Alternately you may choose to use a round ATC Coin of 2.5" diameter. They are self-made unique works or small series, signed and dated on the reverse by the artist/producer, exchanged and collected by the people who participate in the collaborative performance.
Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) are a conceptual art project initiated by the Swiss artist M. Vanci Stirnemann. He called it a Collaborative Cultural Performance. In 1997 he created 1200 cards by hand as part of an exhibit. On the last day, he invited others to create their own cards and trade with him during the closing reception. The movement took off, and today, there are ATC swaps in almost every major city around the world as well as right here on Mary Janes Farm!
You can make ATCs with many different media including paper, fabric, felt, metal, wood, clay, paint, stamps, embellishments and more. There are tons of ideas and inspiration available online if you google ATC or Artist Trading Cards.
