I'm only going to be on here for a minute, but wanted to update you guys and try to make a long story short... On Wednesday, we found out we lost our baby, just prior to 20 weeks. They started an induction that night. On Thursday my uterus ruptured... emergency cesarean and hysterectomy. Lost over 2/3rds of my blood. After multiple units of blood and many days in ICU, I am home... without my baby, unable to ever have more children, but home with my family. We have a long road ahead of us, and are asking for prayers <3

So very, very, sorry-- This is terrible to hear---all I have ever seen is dead goats that I could not birth right and how I cried when they died. Your loss is devastating for sure. I do understand because I have seen life that is not meant to be. God bless you and comfort you and Give you strength. Healing will come.

Thank you all for your prayers! We buried Cassandra Grace, or Cassie, on Thursday. Physically I am doing alright, though my incision is infected. Sigh. So is life. Love you all <3

I’m so sorry for your loss. Perinatal grief is so complicated because you’re also dealing your own health issues while coping and adjusting to your situation.
Please make sure you’re taking care of *you* at this time, that you’re eating right and sleeping right and reaching out to your support system, in real life and online.
