My favorite activity for family and friends get together is to have a hayride
Cook a pot of chili and have roast hotdogs and marshmallows.

Sew seeds of kindness, reap a harvest of joy.

That sounds like a great day! I haven't been on a hayride for a while now.

My Fall favorites are festivals at apple orchards where they make apple butter in a huge copper kettle, serve Brunswick stew, do rides around the apple orchards, and have Blue Grass musicians. What a fun day all that is and a chance to pick and bring home bags of delicious apples.

Fall festivals, the changing colors on the trees, camellias in bloom, chilly nights around a fire, cider...…….. just everything about it I love.

Keep shining!

I love the craft shows for the fall. To be honest...…. I love fall in general. So many things about it that makes it such a wonderful season. The smells, colors, cool air, and the wonderful colors of the leaves.

We used to do the hayrides Peggy until we moved way out in the country! How I miss those times! We do go to the pumpkin fields nearby and get our fill of cider, treats and hayrides! I adore fall! YES, Lori, the craft shows and fall festivals are SO MUCH FUN! One just this weekend and there are at least 3 nearby next weekend!!! <3

Oh the hayrides are a blast. I haven't been on one for years. We do go to an apple orchard nearby and they sell cider and have an amazing corn maze. I think they do hayrides too. I'll have to check it out.

I live in Tennessee, and every fall there are numerous hayrides and other activities to take part in, Land between the Lakes has a snap apple festival at their 1850's working farm, they tell ghost stories, have bonfire and homemade apple cider to enjoy. It is wonderful.

One time we found ourselves in northwestern Arkansas. We were with friends and the guys were fishing with a guide each day...so that left my friend and I with long days to fill. One day we shopped Eureka Springs. One day we went to Branson to shop and have lunch and dessert. Apple's baked in a crust with cinnamon ice cream. That was yummy.
One evening we went to Silver Dollar City. It was so cold. I still have my glass cup that we had hot mulled apple cider on. That sure hit the spot and the refills were great.
The year was 1990. They had lots of Christmas trees decorated by different groups.
We were there in November just before Thanksgiving.
Great friends, great times and good memories.

You should go.Not in summer tho. Much too crowded. November is a good time, but that's just my opinion!
