Hello Ladies, I'm looking for some hand carding tools. I would be willing to trade or buy a set. Didn't know they would be so difficult to find. Or if anyone could give my a place to look for some I'd appreciate it.

Hi Brenda
You might try online at www.woolery.com to see if they have what you need.
Good luck!

Hi Brenda, there is store around here called Woodcrafters. They sell hand carving tools. I don't know if you have one of these stores around where you live or not.

Thanks for the information Judith and Lori. I'll give them a try. Haven't heard of Wood Crafters, but will check them out.

If you have a particular brand of carder that you want, go to their website and then look to see if there are any local retailers near you. For instance if you go to https://www.ashford.co.nz/where-to-buy it shows a shop called Weir Crafts in Ann Arbor, MI. I have also purchased from the The Woolery and they have a lot of selection.

I found a wool shop about an hour and a half from me that had hand carders, but decided to get a blending board instead. The cost was reasonable and I'll be able to get more carding done in a shorter length of time. Thanks for the information all of you sent.

Are you enjoying your blending board? I do not have any idea what a blending board is or how it is used.please when you have some time, I would love to hear more.
