the cows have roughly 40 acres of rough pasture, wooded too. And a spring for their water. Been in the family for 108 years. Been a pasture there that long as well.
That's is a very peaceful view. Even your fur baby is enjoying himself! I hope your summer is filled with many more evenings like that one. I'm glad you have been able to keep it in the family for many generations to enjoy.
My sidekick is Ruby, she is 13 going on 14 this year. She is my shadow, best friend, and loves going for her gator rides. She was a great cow dog in her day, and still tries. Though we try to not let her do to much and watch out for her. she can't move as fast as she used to. It is beautiful country in the Blue Hills of Wi.
I have to chime in and agree with the others! What a great land and view! Warms the heart to know your family has kept it going for so long. Lots of stories and love right there I'm sure! Michelle I hope you can post another view of your sunsets or sunrises soon.
Don't we all love peaceful times in the country? Times like these make up for the hectic times that are more often than not. I just spent two days chasing two bad boy donkeys up and down the holler---one day in the pouring rain. Day two they were found a mile away from home in a neighbors old barn and had to be escorted home. Now they are securely in their field. Thank goodness for the peaceful days to make things fun again.
