Julie - I like to read all genres. I am up for anything that my secret sister thinks is a good book. :-) I joined a book of the month club and got a new book each month. It helped get me out of my comfort zone. I read books that before joining the club I wouldn’t have picked up at the store and they ended up being some of my favorite books. Now I know the truest meaning of Don’t judge a book by its cover. Lol

Hmm... so from the genre I listed (dystopian fiction) - I'd have to say my favorites are "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy and the "Life As We Knew It" series by Susan Beth Pfeffer.
I didn't list it, but I also LOVE the romance genre. My favorite writer in that genre is Susan Elizabeth Phillips.

These are what my beautiful flowers look like today all opened. They are even more beautiful today. Thank you again Secret Sister.
Well, I will have to post my photo later as the system just will not let me download one right now.
I want to thank my Secret Sister for my Beautiful Birthday Bouquet that arrived about an hour ago. It was such a surprise and so very sweet of you, a fabulous ending to an already wonderful day. Thank you so much again and have a Beautiful Week.

I have too many favorite Authors to list and if she goes by favorites...I have probably already read
them. So, I don't know what to say. I like Christian Mysteries/with a love story and that is a wide
open field. I also like Devotional or Inspirational Books too. No Coloring Books (some people know I
use to do a lot of coloring but I don't anymore).
My favorite Tea is Cherry, Berry, Mango, White, Most Herbals (but not Earl Grays, or peppermint or chamomile).

I got a happy surprise this morning when the mailman banged on the door and handed me a box. At first I thought it was for my husband because he's an internet shopaholic but then I noticed my name on the box. It's from my secret sis! It contained a cool fan --you must have made it as it's too pretty to be store bought-- and the most lucious lemonade scented candle. It smells like summer. Thank you so much. I think it has inspired me to go make a jug of lemonade. 99 in the shade today.....

Old cook books are a great read for me. I skimmed over the book.
I am now reading word for word of it. Wonderful old recipes. I'm on page
95 of pages 321. This book was copy righted in 1943.
I included one recipe that some of the farm sisters might want to cook.
Think I will skip that entree.
