Wow, we are in the middle of a hail storm, thunder and lightening!
Whew! Hope our trucks and roof survives!
How is the weather in your neck of the woods?

Debbie I know how scary hail storms can be - been in a few. Hope there's no damage. Your pictures tell the story.

Later tonight a storm out of the west which may be the one you are experiencing is forecasted to hit my part of Texas after midnight. Another storm coming from the north will meet up with the one from west over Texoma which Paris is in the eastern part. High straight line winds and rain - no hail. Texoma is an area that takes in southern OK and northcentral & northeast TX.

Wow Debbie that's some crazy weather you had. Was everything okay in the end? I hope you didn't get any damage.

We have been having nice weather with the occasional rain. It's really starting to turn into summer here.

Yes, the roof and trucks were fine thankfully.
We get these severe thunderstorms every afternoon as they are saying we are in the middle of our monsoon season.
What the heck happened to our Spring? We went straight from Winter and snow in May to the monsoon season.
But, like I said we need the rain, so I am hoping we will have a fabulous summer with no wildfires.

Wow, Debbie!! This photo tells of one of those awful thunderstorms with hail. Glad your cars and property were not damaged. Summer storms can be tricky but I am so glad you are getting rain this year and hopefully those wildfires will not be a problem. Last year was really scary for so many in the Western states. The hail covering the ground is really amazing when you think about it too. Right in the middle of Summer, it looks a bit like a snow event.

That was quite an impressive hail storm! They can really cause damage to vehicles and property. Glad to hear your stuff made it through unscathed. I hope you get gentle summer rains only from now on!

Yea, I wanted to share with you that we are suppose to get snow in our mountains this weekend, say What! At almost 9000 feet we will likely get snow flurries.
Wah! This is Donkey Derby Days in Cripple Creek this weekend, and a Big Parade, Donkey races and more. Such a wonderful festival and they are a bit higher in altitude than we are. But we would not miss it we will bundle up and have fun!
This is the 88th year for this Event! Such a big tradition!
Folks come from all over the United States for this event!

Last weekend in September....It hailed in Vancouver, Washington. My husband posted some pictures with the cell phone. I was away at Rockaway Beach, Oregon with my lady friends from church having our annual womens retreat. We only got a little off and on drizzel. Funny how the weather can be so different in so many places.
