This looks like fun, Grace! A few years ago, I tried to raise Crown Bees from larvae. I carefully followed the directions, the little darlin's hatched and flew away................................... AND NEVER CAME BACK!!!! WAAAAAA, I was so sad!!!!!!!!! I hope Washington State is a better and happier home and your bees move in and STAY! Keep us posted!! The one good thing that came out of my experience was being able to do levels 1& 2 of the MJF Bee Badge.

Oh my gosh!!!! I love it. I thought about getting one but never have yet. This year I planted a bunch of flowers to attract butterflies. I know the bees loved the blossoms on my crabapple trees this year. I also want to get some bat houses out because the mosquitoes are so bad this year.
I hope the flying critters choose to spend a few nights with you. buzz is the word. maybe paint a little sign, vacancy. haha enjoy

How exciting Grace! I hope you have many bees and butterflies move into your motel. It looks really cute. I agree with Michelle. You should make a cute sign! Maybe even give the motel a name.
I think I found the perfect spot for my B&B Motel, perfect sunny morning spot and out of the winds and rains... now to wait and hope the bees, butterflies and ladybugz will come visit.
