Oh WOW!! Lenora's Spring swap box arrived this afternoon and it was packed full of wonderful goodies!! There was a cute chicken plaque, little wooden box in the shape of a log cabin, sweet Easter chick, a pair of pretty purple candles, , notepad for lists, darling little chick cookie cutter, pretty bunny Easter egg, seed pack for summer Mexican sunflowers, and a wonderful apple plate!! The second photo shows that I just happen to have a matching bowl and mug for the same apple plate pattern. All of this pottery is made at Emerson Creek Pottery in Virginia and it is all hand painted. I had the pleasure of visiting the business back in 2014 and have a few pieces of other patterns they offer. Thank-you Lenora for so many wonderful and fun surprises in my swap!! Here is a photo of the box contents.
This next photo is all of the apple pottery together! As you can see, it all is the same pattern and is no longer made so you have to get pieces from Ebay or as a gift!! Farmgirl magic!!
Lenora also sent me some copies of articles written by Judy Liskey from a journal titled With Pen in Hand. Lenora found them in her attic at her home in Virginia. From a brief glance the article copies are all about places and people from Virginia. I can't wait to read all of them!! What fun this is going to be!! This was a great idea, Lenora from one Virginia Farmgirl to another who grew up in Virginia!!
I am still getting your Spring box together but I hope to get it all together real soon and send it along your way. Thank-you again for such a lovely box of goodies!!

Jenny - I got your package the other day. I haven't opened yet as I haven't finished packing the box to go to you. As soon as I get your boxed mailed I will open my goodies and post pictures :-)

I just received your box. Thank you so much. I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism a few weeks ago, and it is really taking its toll on me. I can usually shrug things off pretty easy, but this is getting to me. It was so nice to get something in the mail that cheered me up. I love everything. The dish towel is so cute, and the necklace is adorable. The tea smelled amazing the second I opened the box. I sent your package out yesterday morning. You should get it by Thursday. I hope you like your goodies.

Jenny - I opened my box last night. Oh my golly!!! I love everything. Can’t wait to use all of it. I haven’t opened the homemade item. Is it apple butter or some other fruit preserve?
