I found this recipe and wanted to share. Not sure how it tastes but it looks well worth trying...

Wow Judy,
That actually sounds yummy. Will have to try it out on the gals at work. We are county workers so we are always eating and having pot lucks and work sometimes. :)

Denise this looks like a very yummy fall recipe of an old cheese ball favorite! I agree with Lisa that fresh apples might be a great idea to try as well. I am wondering if the fresh ones would make the cheese ball runny since the fresh apple has more moisture? Guess I will give it a try and split the basic recipe into two trials, one with dried apple and one with fresh.

OK, I tried this, but tweaked it because I am such a fan of spicy. I added some chopped jalapenos (don't hate me!, I LOVE heat), and just a bit of blue cheese. I've been eating with my dehydrated zucchini chips I made from some of the baseball bats I pulled from the garden. I used fresh Granny Smiths, and, no Winnie, it was not runny at all.
Someone who knows how to stick to a recipe, let me know how the original is. LOL
