I haven't Ruthie but when I picked up my mail yesterday I did receive a card from you and
there was a yellow card to pick up a package but the p.office was closed early since it was
Saturday. Wasn't expecting a package from anyone so maybe that was you? I'll be able to
go back into town Tuesday or Wednesday to pick up any new mail.

Hi Madeline---I received your package today. Thank-you so much, I see you are a December girl too. Do you get the "I can't give you a birthday gift because it is Christmas thing???" I do and my birthday has always been over looked and no fun at all. Mine is the 14th---when is yours? So since I don't have any surprise presents for Christmas---I am going to wrap each package and put to BARB From the senders name---and that way I will feel like I have company for Christmas. I am too dumb to post pics so I will send thank-you notes to each of you.

Hi Barbara, I’m glad it got there. Actually my Mom always made sure to separate my brother & my birthday from Christmas, he’s the 17th, me the 30th. He would have parties, me only one time. No one could come because of both Christmas & New Years. I do treasure the Birthdays spent with my Mom, shopping & going to a nice restaurant. Always made up for no parties. Everything was on sale.

I'll be mailing all 3 December birthday envelopes early next week. My daughter also has
an early December birthday and we never allowed any Christmas decorations to be put up
or bring a Christmas tree into the home until after we had celebrated her birthday. She
always appreciated that.

We do the same Linda. My husband's birthday is the 2nd and one of my daughter's is the 7th. It's usually the weekend after the 7th, that I start getting out the Christmas decorations. My MIL's is the 21st, but we also have a birthday party for her.

| I just wanted to Thank the ladies who sent Birthday cards and goodies I loved everything from my Farmgirls. But I also have to say it's saddens me that only half of the people who signed up followed through. I mailed to everyone on the Birthday list ( December girls going out Thursday on errand day) but only received from less than half...I understand things happen but feel you should then let everyone know you could not participate. Again Thank you to all who sent! |

Barbara and Madeline, I mailed your packages on Monday and I have been tracking them
through the post office but it said both have been delayed but I'm hoping you both at
least receive them by tomorrow.
Marlene, it says yours was delivered so that is good news.

Hi Linda, I received your bundle of birthday joy, yesterday. Went to a Christmas Festival, last night & took one of the hankies you sent me in my handbag. Thank You so much for your kindness. Like Barbara said having a birthday in December can be daunting. You truly made my month.

The other day I saw people posting they were up set that others weren't sending packages. Yes that is upsetting but what I find more upsetting is not a thank you or picture of the gift you sent . Then I see posting of pics and thank you's of gifts from others . Make a person wonder if the gift was good enough, did they not like ect. Just my observation.

Simply put, if you sign up for a swap, send it in the timeline the hostess sets. If you aren't
able to do so just let the hostess know or post on the thread that you wish to take your
name out of the swap. Everyone will understand.
