Hello. I've joined the forum. I'm from NC near the VA border. We have just purchased about 220 acres in nearby VA. We live in NC on 12 acres. Now, we are trying to decide what to do with our new farm. We thought about a vineyard...any ideas???

Welcome Sheralene!
It looks like you are well on your way! Do grapes grow well in your area? The possibilities are endless. If you can swing it, I would start taking road trips to see what others are doing and what appeals to you. It will be FUN!

Welcome Sheralene! It's all about research, research and more research, and then going with your gut feeling and intuition! It's always a gamble, but you reduce the odds with research. Nancy's suggestion to hit the road and explore "what's out there" already, is a good idea. Glad you found us!
