Wowzers! having the skies light up from the lightening and then followed by thunder boomers.... quit loud...
The down side,, is, we we have dry weather right now and winds,, and are on fire watch,,, yikes!

Darlene... we are on the East side of the State...near Spokane.
The lightening has stopped, whew.... with all the hay and wheat ready to be cut, the last thing we need is for fires to break out.

Oh yes for sure Grace!
I get my directions really confused in that State. You are way up toward the top? They are closer to Portland.
It is so iffy with the weather because of the heat!
Be careful and hope you get your hay and wheat done really soon.

We only have a shy 14ac of hay and our neighbor around us grow hay...but up the road in the community of Reardon they grow wheatand other ground crops.
I do not miss the fires that we delt with back in SO CAL...fires started from the dry condition brought on by the Santa Ana winds. Hugh!

Oh yeah, there was one going n in Santa Barbara yesterday I think. Bad bad.that one last year pin Santa Rosa was a surprise and huge, so much damage.

We had a heck of one today! Blew my sunflowers over, bummer! My dog and I cuddled until it was over! Too many windows in our house to feel 'safe'! Glad you made it through Grace and so worried about all those fires around! Poor critters....poor homes! Praying a lot! We are plenty wet here so no fires.

Dianna, I am glad you are safe, do you have a safe place, closet or bathroom in your house, I hope so.
There are a lot of fires around the country, and some floods too.

Thunder and lightening storms are a way of life around here lately in Florida! We can get some doozies just about any day of the week in the Summer. It is scary!!

Oh Winnie,, the last time I was in FL, was 1966... family vacation & mom & dad bought a parcel of land in Ocala... I have since inherited that land... ah, what great memories..Cypress Gardens,, and all those lovely beaches...
