Please keep our farmgirl sister Deb Fischer, her family and and her neighbors, in your thoughts and prayers. They have been evacuated due to a wildfire. Deb is safe and staying with friends now, but this is a scary fire season here and I can't imagine how scared I would be.

Prayers going out---I live in the middle of the woods and I am terrified there will be a fire. So understand. Praying now.

Hello Farmgirls~ After a 5 day evacuation we are finally back home today but still are on pre evacuation status as it is still and active wildfire. Our home and that of our neighbors in our little neighborhood are safe. But sadly in the little neighborhood across the road from us where the wildfire started 7 homes were lost due to the wildfire. Just so sad, our heart just breaks for them. The displaced families are being helped through donations and temporary housing. Once again our community is coming together to help them.
Thank you to all my Farmgirl Sisters for your support, love and concern.

Hugs,
Deborah (My birth name, just found out) I love this name!

Deborah!!!!! So happy to hear you all are ok as is your home! You've had enough to deal with! Incredibly sorry for the families who've lost though. My best friend and her husband and animals had to evacuate as well but they are safe too!! Still praying!! Hugs!!

Deb...so glad that you guys are back in your home. My heart just really goes out to those who lost their homes in the fire.
We have had early fires this year too but so far nothing like last year.

I pray that God keeps this Fire from burning anyone else out. The first responders do a great job...but I TRUST in Prayers
more!!!

Love and Blessings,
Peggy

SO sad, but SO glad that you and your family are safely back in your home, Deborah. Praying for all who desperately need rain. The sweet corn on the farm did not grow at all due to lack of rain, and will need to be plowed under. Luckily, the farm has insurance so we will break even and not owe the bank for corn but there is no profit. I do hope the fires in Colorado and California are under control soon.
