| I feel attracted to things that comfort me- jeans, flip flops, chocolate, down comforter, white furniture, the colors turquoise and lavender, long walks, pets, hugs and kisses, the ocean, TEXAS!!!!. I think these are the things that represent who I am, reflected on the outside. I like being surrounded by these things. |

First, I would say we would be wise not to love "things" so much but like everyone else here I am sentimental and things hold memories, bring back feelings and reminders of days well spent. I think the things we love are an outward extension of who we are, they express our likes, interests, the composition of who we are. We can sometimes better explain ourselves by what sort of things we "love". That's why sometimes they are conflicting and confusing, because we are complex and amazing beings.I know someone "gets" me when they say "That's so YOU"! Can you be a farmgirl that has a leopard spotted duvet cover? Absolutely! That's just not who I happen to be! And don't go asking me why do we love the people we do... that's impossible to answer!
