When we think of July we think of the Fourth....the Flag.....our Freedoms..... our Families. We come together to enjoy parades, family, fun, picnics....and Fire Works !!
So... Let us come together and create cards that represent what July means to you.
Happy creating..... try to mail out be the 15th....
Enjoy.. Mary

Thank you Connie for posting the picture and also letting me know at least some of my mail is coming through ok. Have no idea where the missing mail is right now but saying a prayer that you do still get it. I wrote the poem about July and have to confess that I did use it in my July card swap last year but all of it still applies. Really do miss Portia and all the kindness she shared with us farm sisters and her own special creative style in all that she made for the swaps. She lives on in our hearts and cards.

Thanks too Connie for that beautiful patriotic July "Birthday" tag. Love how you put the ribbons and flag on it.

Thank you Linda, Nora and Marlene. I love your creative cards. Mine are not finished yet. But hopefully I will mail them tomorrow or Wednesday. Things went a bit nuts around here. Grey horse had to be put down, he was 30 years old. Tristan blew out a tire, thankfully he was right here close to the barn. So they took the car that Baylee drives to school and went to their apartment. Then just before three am Sunday they got a phone call, telling them Tristons grand dad had just died. So they hopped in some clothes and the little car and flew to Ft. Worth! Today my son helped Baylee get the tire fixed and he put it back on the camero. He wanted to buy them a set of tires, not sure if they let him do that or not. Today I was at home, no phone service, outside watering to try to keep some plants from dying in this awful heat. Then I napped. Tomorrow is visitation and Wed. Is the funeral. Triston's grand dad(Jimmy) was dating my husband's sister 54 years ago when Wade was born. Then when Wade was only one year old, my husband was a pallbearer for Jimmy's mother when she died. So his death has been a blow to us all. He was in a hospital following surgery. They were expecting him to get to come home soon, but he suffered a heart attack. So sad!

Marilyn, So sorry to hear about all your family has been going through. I'll keep you and all of them in my prayers. Extra sad that he was almost ready to come home before he passed away.
