Sign-ups Closed.. now sew sew sew...
Ok,, here we go,, Time to make some cute lil 4-th of July mini aprons...
Who is game to join in?
July mini apron swap for 2018..
The rules are simple,, and I only ask that if you sign up,, to please stay committed to the 'mail by' date, so I can sort and return/send out the aprons to everyone on time.
Sometimes life gets in the way of life,, and if you need to back out, please let me know...
I will be keeping the sign up to 15 so we don't get over whelmed....
II can hardly wait for the creative fun to begin..
Ok, here are the rules...
#1.. sign up
#2. based on sign up,, we will make 1 apron for each participant,
if we have 12 sign-up, we each will sew 12 aprons to swap.
#3. send aprons to me along with a self addressed & postage paid mailer envelope, On the "Mail out date" posted by me. (or sooner)
#4. include in the mailer envelope a return mailer envelope with your return address and postage added on to the mailer.
#5. include $1 to cover any additional postage that might be necessary. If the $1 is not needed, I will return it to you.
#6. make an apron aprox, 5"x5" with aprox. 6" ties on each side.
the mini apron can be larger,,
#7. label your aprons
#8. and have fun
The average postage is between $3.50-$4.00, each way, so your total postage will be anywhere between from $7 to $8...
OK Sign-ups officially begin..
4th of July is the theme.
Last day to sign up is June 8th.
Mail your completed aprons to me no later than June 20th.
I will sort and return mail the minis to everyone by June 26th.

I will join too! I love red, white and blue, and stars and stripes...In fact I've already been collecting some fabric. I have had no time to sew, but after the wedding Saturday night, my machine shall be itching to get stitching.

1 rainy day = 6 completed 4th of July mini Aprons...
yepadoodle it started raining last night, continued all day today... sew it was a perfect day to hide out in my sewing room!
I hung my mini apron on the wash board in the laundry room with 5 other little minis...

Fun time sewing when it rains and you cannot go outside to putter about.. We are so dry! The heat is so oppressive! We water, but it is not helping as much as a good blessing rain would. Enjoy your rain and cooler temps. God bless you.

Marilyn,, wish I could send the rain your way...
On the plus side,, I don't have to water,, on the minus... I can't sit and weed... but when therain stops & sun shines.. I'll certainly will have lots of weeds in my garden! lol! I just hope my potatoes don't drown!
