I just wanted to remind all of our new Farmgirls that there is a Jubilee Badge you can work on to celebrate our upcoming special weekend! It is easy to do and a great way to just have fun learning more and maybe planning some ideas you can do yourself.
I hope many of you will celebrate in some way and give us a shout out here on this thread to share your ideas and plans.
Here is a small pillow I finished today for my porch and a wonderful book about flowers that draw bees, hummingbirds, butterflies and moths in your area of the US. Almost all of the common herbs used are loved by bees when they flower. I hope I can get some of mine to last long enough to bloom this year. It can get so hot and humid here in Florida that I always have a challenge keeping my herbs alive.

Winnie, your pillow is perfect for Jubilee 2018. You did good and the book is a good companion.
FarmGirl see - FarmGirl wants to do too. If you don't mind I'll copy your idea and look through my garden books and display one - maybe in - maybe out depends on the book I decide on.

Hi Winnie,
I will hang out my aprons, put up my banner. I did send out a few little surprise packages for some Farm Girl Sisters. Then I plan to spend a girl's day having tea, watching old movies, playing with kittens with my neighbor and friend. Hugs Karla

Oh Winnie I just love the pillow! I did get a book in the mail the other day on bees and today I finished building my Mason bee house and placed it in my garden. I have 2 flags yet to finish on my sewing table! I adore our pollinators and plant specifically for them! Thanks for sharing your picture! Maybe I will get a pic of the bee house tomorrow and post! Happy Jubilee! I just have to show you what I got today. My farmboy comes in saying "farmgirl jubilee mail!" Lol. Karla sent me sweet package to celebrate. So kind of her. I hope you all are enjoying your day. I know even though we have grey skies she just made my day a whole lot brighter. Oops, sorry about the coffee mug in there. Was having a morning cup.

Happy Farmgirl Jubilee Weekend everyone! I wanted to share with you a few photos of some of my celebration activities. To kick off the weekend, last night I made MaryJane's Spaghetti pie from her Cast Iron Cookbook and it was easy and delicious!! To go with it, I roasted some fresh brussel sprouts in the oven.

Then this morning, I tried Maple Sticky buns from the same cookbook. Oh man, they were crazy delicious hot from the pan!!

Thankfully, there are ample left overs to enjoy tomorrow . Today is a beautiful warm and breezy day here in Florida and my apron is flying in the breeze on the flag pole. Celebrating our Farmgirl Jubilee is always special to me! Isn't it incredible how MaryJane's Farmgirl paradigm brought all of us together here? We have such fun and camaraderie!! It is indeed worth celebrating together!!
If you are doing anything special this weekend, I would love to hear all about it!!

We had to make a fast dash on Sunday evening,, winds and rains kicked up,,, and it was reported we might get Hail, so I had to run out in the rain and cover up my seedlings to protect them...
But this morning,,, (Mon),, the weather was nice and the winds were calm...
At least I had a fab Jubilee Saturday and partly Sunday...
My Banner was so pretty outside,,, I did take it in, at night fall...
I hope you all had a lovely Jubilee weekend,,, even if you only had a wee bit of time to relax with a pot of tea and a wonderful book or favorite magazine...
