We have planned and are getting ready to build a barn... a big one. Last night, hubby told me that he didn't think he was going to have time to get it completed with everything else that is going on? I have to tell you that I was really disappointed. It only lasted for a minute though... He told me that instead he wanted to build something smaller for now,, fairly quick so that we could get a cow next month!!! Aunt Jenny>>>I am getting a cow!!!! haha I am just so excited. Chickens, rabbits, a cow and sheep soon to follow- as soon as I figure out what kind I want. Sorry for all of the excitement.. I knew I could share it here.

Ah Birdi, too cute. I know you will love the animals, especially the cow. So excited for you, and don't forget pictures when they start arriving.

I have a book right now from the library, "Building Small Barns, Sheds & Shelters" by Monte Burch. It has a plan for a easy to build Family Cow Barn. We may build this same barn with an additional area for hay. I hope this helps. Congradulations on the cow!!!
