I almost didn't go today, had a lot to do, but something told me I really should take a run over. Well good thing I did. I am always amazed at what people don't want, well now I have it, so guess its a good thing for me. NANCY JO

Beautiful Nancy!
I love thrift store finds! I found a beautiful 100% wool lightweight sweater w/ matching 100% wool lightweight jacket for $5.00 (only $2.50 each!!) The week before I found a 100% Shetland wool, heavy duty, hand knit sweater for only $3.50.

terrific finds! hey, on the beaded ornaments..how about spray painting a small tree branch in the color of your choice and pushing it into a block of foam into a decorative pot, then hot glue moss to the foam for a special tree?
A year round tree.

Love the ornaments! I can just imagine all the time they took to make. Sad that someone let them go- good for you though!

Yes those ornaments are real special, if you double click on the pictures you can see all the work that went into them. Can you believe I got the whole bag for 2.48 cents. Not sure who comes up with the .48 cent part, but fine with me. Cyndi, sounds like you got some great deals on the clothes, its hard to go in the reg. stores after you can get really nice things at the thrifts for so much less. Tina, the tree type Idea sounds like something that might work. I really don't want to put them away and not be seen. NANCY JO

Nancy you should move into the thrift store! Do you go to the same one or different ones. You always seem to find good stuff. My thrift store never has anything interesting.

Margie, Wouldn't that be fun? Bring your covered dish, we can order out if it has freezer burn. NANCY JO

I love the needlepoint silhouettes . . . but of course I think I was meant to be a colonial girl (somehow my birth just got postponed . . .)so I am always drawn to these.
