Rebekah, that King Cake is BEAUTIFUL!!! Wish you were my neighbor! I lived in New Awlins for a year, & until I was married & had kids, continued to spend some time there every year. Haven't been back, tho, for 15 years! Seeing your cake really broght back some happy memories! Happy Mardis Gras to you.........."Let the good times roll!" Time to go put on some Cajun music!
I love those King Cakes.. My SIL sent me one last year from New Orleans and I loved it baby and all.. Today I stopped in the food store for a few things and there were King cakes in the bakery... got to get one........ NewHeart..
