I was going to email you to get your address again. I will mail your rocks to you this Friday. I really had fun with those little things and now I want to do more of them but will have to find some more rocks.

It was fun trying different things. I found that base coating with Modge Podge kept the paints from running.

I used Modge Podge as a base too, helped seal the rock. then sprayed it with the Modge podge sealer after. seemed to work pretty well.

My problem is that I stop to examine the beauty of God's creation...this time rocks. Then I must choose the not so pretties to transform with paint. There are some i cannot bring myself to paint!

We have a 10 km walk around the airport, and while I was walking yesterday I spotted a lovely painted rock sitting on a bench. I should have taken a picture of it, but didn't think of it at the time.

My 4-H members have decided to do this for a craft at a camp we'll be holding in April. It should be fun, they liked the idea of putting them out in public for people to find.
