Dear Christy, thank you so much for the card, tea, and little notebook. It made my day. My boss had yelled at me 3 times by 11 am yesterday and it was just a long day. I love tea of all kinds and had just put "little notebook" on my grocery list. All of it was just wonderful. Thanks again

Came home late from work yesterday and there was a package for me. Janie sent me an apron pattern, a book for quilting and cute material. What a great surprise! Thank you Janie-I can't wait to get started.

JANIE!!!!! I LOVE Lori Holt! And I absolutely love the Apron Club pattern set that you sent to me - perfect! :) I've never seen this pattern before and will definitely incorporate it onto my Lori Holt quilt that is on my ToDo list. I've been collecting 1930's print fabrics just for this project. How fun!
And thank you also for the Easter card - it's so pretty with the glittery eggs.
What's kind of funny is that just before receiving your package, I was literally in line at the post office mailing you one! Small world in Farmgirl land. :)

I received another surprise yesterday from Joyce.I have wanted to learn crochet and keep talking about it but never get around to it. Joyce sent me this wonderful book that teaches you step by step so I tried it. Like a kid without training wheels-I guess you have to fall once or twice before getting it right. The book says it's important to count your stitches-guess they mean it as you can tell from the square in the picture but I will get there. Thanks Joyce-I'm learning to crochet!

Thank you Brenda for the cheery dishcloth and card. I received it in the mail yesterday. I was just diagnosed with pneumonia on Thursday. Your package was a pleasant surprise as it is a struggle just to breathe right now. However, if the antibiotics work, I should stay out of the hospital for Easter. Thanks again. Your kindness brought a smile to my face.

Hi Janiee - I'm glad that your package arrived safe and sound. :) I didn't realize that Lori had a new stitch along! I've been working (volunteer work) almost full time and haven't been doing much sewing of my own. I'm going to go check it out right now - thanks for letting me know about it. Yay! :)
