Ok,, here we go,,
The mini apron swap for 2018..
The rules are simple,, and I only ask that if you sign up,, to please stay committed to the 'mail by' date, so I can sort and return/send out the aprons to everyone on time.
Sometimes life gets in the way of life,, and if you need to back out, please let me know...
Ok,,, I think this will be the 'tentative ' line up for our swap.
Jan/Feb = Valentine theme
March/Apr = Spring/Easter theme
May/June = vacation/travel
July = Red/wht/blue 4th of July
Aug/Sept = Beach/back to school
Oct/Nov = Harvest/Thanksgiving
Dec = Christmas/winter wonderland
I will be keeping the sign up to 15 so we don't get over whelmed....
II can hardly wait for the creative fun to begin..
Ok, here are the rules...
#1.. sign up 
#2. based on sign up,, we will make 1 apron for each participant,
if we have 12 sign-up, we each will sew 12 aprons to swap.
#3. send aprons to me in a self addressed & postage paid mailer envelope, On the "Mail out date" posted by me. (or sooner)
#4. include in the mailer envelope a return mailer envelops with your return address and postage added on to the mailer.
#5. include $1 to cover any additional postage that might be necessary. If the $1 is not needed, I will return it to you.
#6. make an apron aprox, 5"x5" with aprox. 6" ties on each side.
the mini apron can be larger,,
#7 have fun
OK Sign-ups officially begin..
'Valentines" is the theme.
Last day to sign up is Jan 15th.
Mail your completed aprons to me no later than Jan 30th.
I will sort and return mail the minis to everyone by Feb 6th.

You already assumed I will be making mini aprons? Have all those you named already said yes? if so, WHERE?
Well, I will THIS time, but will not be making all of them. Depends on our travels.

all but the 2 w/a '?' next to the name (including you) will participate.. I need to double check with Joyce & Sabrina to confirm..

Itchin to get out of the kitchen and start stitchin!
Woohoo! Told family that kitchen and laundry services will be closed for two days. I will be hanging out with my friend Simplicity.
She has my best interest at heart. As soon as I turn on the light she hits the ground running. Never is she whinney. She sings
beautifully, I can change her mood at any moment, never skips a stitch, I can tell her all my secrets. She often is privy to my prayers and she never tells anyone of my inperfections. She is patient and never rushes me as I take time to contemplate my next step or direction, if you will. She, unlike my computer warns me if something starts to go astray. She not only lends me a hand when I need it, she lets me use her whole arm. What a gal!
What a friend! Must go, Simplicity is waiting on me to get stitchin on those mini aprons. To get started, I need to give her a drink of sewing machine oil. She is a little dehydrated in spots. For her oil, for me hot chocolate. Of course with marhmallows. (No less than half a bag.) Lol!
Thank you Grace for hosting this swap! What a wonderful friend you are to all of us farmsisters. Could I interest you in some oil, I mean hot chocolate? Sorry, I do not share my marshmallows. Lol!

Grace, I didn't see a message from you.....
I'm going to have to sit out February. I think this sounds like a lot of fun but have a lot going on in January and want to make sure I get the kids in a good schedule before I take on a project quite this big (with people depending on me). Hopefully I can jump on a few others during the year though!

Hey stitchin' sisters.. our wifi/internet was down half the day today.. and then we spent the rest of the day with the grandkiddos..
B.B.,, you are a Hoot! and fyi,, I have 1 1/2 bags of mini marshmellows :>) to hog all to myself! lol!

I am having so much fun sewing my little mini aprons! Woot! Woot! God bless my hubby, Farmbrother Big Buzz. He saw I was busy happily sewing and he has offered to fix dinner. Barbecue chicken and the fixins.
He is a keeper. Besides after 46 years it would be hard for someone else to train him their way. LOL! (Just teasing)
He is an excellent chef in his own right.
Makes me wonder if I should spread the sewing of mini aprons out over a course of say two weeks? Should I go for it? LOL! LOL!

B.B.,,, Yep,,, he is a keeper...
My DH & I will be married 46 years in Nov.. 'sew' great minds think alike,, marry your bestest friend... :>)
I have my fabric,, ready to go,, just debating (I have 2 designs to pick from) which one to do... I have to move some things around in my sewing room,, we brought more furniture in, as well as more boxes to be unpacked.. so needless to say,,, unless I want to sew sitting on the floor,, I need to get my rear in gear and get this messed cleaned up.. now if only I could get my DH to make dinner tonight ... lol!

Boo hoo boo my mini apron clothes line is empty...waiting for my Valentine aprons when we get them made. It really looks a little bare, but I need to dust those shelves anyway.
Deborah I love your Simplicity story. That is so cute!!! You are certainly talented.
As they say, "You should dance with the one who brung you!" We are working on 56 years. Mine does not cook, but he loves to go to town, does not mind grocery shopping and almost always calls to ask if I need anything when he is in town.
Hadlee saw my jar of marshmallows and ate most of them. But I had more up in the pantry...so, since I made a batch of Hot chocolate mix today...I might just have a little warm up of my insides before bedtime.
I need to sew my aprons...this past week I spent uploading vintage photos from my maternal grandma's picture box to see if cousins I have never met, can identify them. Today I mailed two envelopes to a couple of these nice ladies.
Now I can get busy sewing!

Grace, I have always loved this photo of Lucy and her sewing machine!!
I can't wait to get stitching on these mini aprons!! I've got my fabric picked out along with apron design and I hope everyone likes it! My hubby and I have been married for 38 years and he knows when I head to my sewing room supper will be an Instant Pot meal! Lol! It makes my kitchen time quick!
