Well, we are a little over halfway through January, but I have missed crochet something terrible, and have just started a sampler blanket which I'm using to use up some of my yarn stash. I'm also going to start a temperature blanket (found a site that shows me the missed temps so far this year). I'll work on both of these, a blanket I started for one of my granddaughters and I'll choose something small...not sure yet...to finish in January. :) Thanks for this challenge!!

Oh Deb-I've done some of the star wars characters...I'll have to see if I have a pic or get them out and take a pic (they are somewhat well loved now!) So fun. I'd like to do some more eventually. I have quite a few patterns as well if I can find them! Looking forward to seeing your table runner and ear muffs!

Linda- I love your patterns! Can't wait to see how they turn out! Oh and reusable swiffer covers have been on my list of things to try for a long time, I'll have to get to those soon!! I need to look up that book too!

Krista-don't worry I haven't gotten very far yet!

Linda-I would love the pattern and to see a pic!!

Audra- welcome and thanks for joining us!! I look forward to seeing what you make! Post pictures if you can! It sounds like you have plenty of projects lined up!

Well it is January 17th and I have just barely started the candy box. I hope to get a lot done this weekend but also have a baton competition to take my girls to so we will see....I'll keep y'all posted. I may or may not be using some things in a swap so I may not post pics until I'm sure they were received :)

Debbie -
Here is the link to the pattern I used. http://dragonfaeriee.blogspot.com/2009/01/swoofer.html It is very easy. I am using up my cotton yarns on these.
Here is a picture of my finished Swiffer cover. The ends are folded over and stitched on the outside edges.

Ohhh Deb I can't wait to see BB8, I'm pretty sure I don't have that pattern in my collection, I'll have to get it for Dan he loves BB8.

LOVE the swiffer Linda!!! I'm almost finished with my candy box (not including the candies themselves which I may not get to) and about to start the ear warmer.

Well here is my 1 Skein Wonder Teddy Bear or Doll Blanket, I used Mexican Red Heart yarn. I ran out of yarn before I could put a trim on.
Right now the little blanket is on its way to it’s new home. I chose to send it to one of my Farmgirl Sisters for her girls, I hope they like it. Sending extra yarn as well for anything extra or if you wanted to make it bigger.
Thank you Sabrina this was a fun challenge. Until next months challenge I will work on my UFO, a knitted scarf for myself.
Till next month...

Hugs,
Deb

Deb, your teddy bear blanket is so cute. The bright colors will be great for kids.

I forgot to post here yesterday, but I finished my 1 skein wonder. Mine actually applied as a UFO as well since I had everything, but I just hadn't gotten around to it. I'm looking forward to next months challenge.

I love those slippers, Krista. Was it a kit or a pattern? What is the bottom made of? Is that a single crochet? It doesn't look like one, but I can't figure out what it is.

Thank you Linda! It was a pattern I found online and the bottoms are made out of flip flop soles. Yes it is single crochet except the the top of the toe cover. It's a mix of single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet. A few of the stitches are also crocheting 2 together so maybe that's why it looks funny!

Well, I'm not keeping up well this month! I made the candy box but I didn't like the way it turned out AT ALL (I'm kind of a perfectionist) so I didn't trim it or make the candies. I would love to try the candy eventually even though I didn't like the box but right now I'm discouraged by this pattern. I will probably give them to my daughters to use as cakes for their dolls if I make them.

I didn't use it for the swap because I didn't like how it turned out.

I am hoping to work on the snowflake and granny square this evening. Not sure I am going to get to the ear warmer this month.

Oh Deb!! Thank you so much for the blanket! It was immediately snatched up and used for their dolls. At the moment my son has it covering his Waldorf doll whose clothes are missing (hope you don’t mind if they share it with him!). That was such a sweet surprise!

I finished my granny square last night. I’m hoping to get to a snowflake this evening.

Debbie, here is a picture of Luke and Darh Vader I made a couple years ago. We have Yoda, a storm trooper, and C3PO around here some where and I have several other patterns I haven’t gotten around to yet.

Oh everyone’s finished projects are so cute, the slippers and swifter cover I really like.
Sabina of course I do not mind if all the young kiddos share the blanket, I think it is sweet. I am happy all if you like the blanket.
The Stars War Dolls are so cute, I have never attempted anything but scarves, Afghans and slippers so I think the dolls are too much for me.
This was a fun challenge, thank you.

Hugs,
Deb
