I have a few seed packets tied up in a ribbon . Can that be counted as 1 item?

Absolutely. Don't overthink this. Whatever you send will be just fine. We're just trying to let a fellow farmgirl know we are thinking of them and brighten their day with a small package.

I knew I waited too long! Sounds like a fun swap. I meant to sign up before the deadline, but my husband was hospitalized this week, with a severe case of the flu and a 104 degree fever! (We both have the flu.)Anyway...have fun, and if you do thus swap again next year, I hope to participate!

Marilyn, I will gladly add you in if you think you would be well enough to shop for and mail 6 red things. #128522; I am so sorry you and your husband are so sick. The flu is always terrible. I hope you both feel better soon.
This will be an ongoing swap with different colors each month. You decide on a monthly basis if you want to join for that months color or not. When we did this years ago, everyone seemed to have fun with it and some people got very creative. It is an easy swap because your 6 things can be anything.
Partners posted probably tomorrow and mail out is by Jan. 25. Please let me know if you think you be well enough to join us or if you would rather wait for February, when the the color will be green. Rest and recover. Hugs, Joey

Hi Joey...I think you were referring to me, Bev, when you wrote “Marilyn” in your post? Thank you! I really wasn’t expecting to be considered an add-on, but since you have offered that possibility...I would enjoy taking part. You mentioned possibly joining in ...in February, due to our being down with this horrible, rampant Influenza! When they say it can be very serious, they are right! I would love taking part, if at all possible, but I don’t want to cause inconvenience or have it seem unfair to the rest. I will let you decide. I am just grateful you offered me the opportunity. Thanks! And thanks for the well wishes, too! That 104 degree fever scared us all so much!

I paired the 2 Canadian farmgirls together for this time because I thought it would make the postage thing easier.
Please post pics on the site marked Color Swap Pictures so we can all share in the fun.
Remember, sometimes things happen-that's life, and it happens to all of us. If, for whatever reason, you are unable to complete your part of the swap,
PLEASE let me know as soon as possible, so I can take care of your partner.
Please contact your partner for address/allergies, etc.
Have fun. Hugs to you all, Joey

Ruthie... Have your address from card swaps. Will you need for me to resend mine to you?

Yeah Jill! I love swapping with you. I should mail my package this week!
I'm hoping you are having better weather than here: we just had a huge snowstorm yesterday. No electricity for 14 hours... My kids did like the experience: snuggling under a huge blanket sipping hot cocoa (I have camping gears) with unrestricted use of flashlights! lol
Have a nice week!

WOW! Some of you gals were really quick. Love that!
I live in Florida and so far I have not seen snow here although we have had 2 days.of freezing temps. I do not miss the snow at all but I really enjoy reading your
snow comments. Don't forget to post on the other post pics of what you receive. Thank you. Joey

So glad SO many of you were on the ball and mailed out so soon. Can't wait to see.
Nora, that was so sweet of you to say. We had so much fun with all the colors years ago and I so enjoy seeing the different things that everyone sends. This swap is a joy for me. So glad you all came to have fun.
Marylou, I haven't been to Quebec in years but it is one of my favorite places (in the summer.) I did get a skiing snowman ornament there from your winter festival. I put it on my Christmas tree each year still. I remember walking the cobbled streets and buying a painting from a street vendor, eating outside
at a cafe and staying 2 nights at that elegant, beautiful hotel at the top of the hill. Quebec is beautiful and the people were quite friendly, tolerating my very broken French.

I do love Quebec, but less in winter! It's like a 5 months of white here non-stop! We do have amazing sight seeing/touristic spots and great food! Each summer, there are plenty of festivals (fairs?) where you can chit-chat with creative people or taste new things! I would never laugh at someone speaking less than perfect French; it is a difficult tongue and at least, you were trying! It is more than I can says for some of our own fellows. If you ever visit Quebec again, tell me and I will tell you all the great spots!
Hugs,
