I have a LOT of chocolate mint . . .haven't used it much but it does smell wonderful to just pinch leaves and let the fragrance waft on the breezes!

I am definitely starting small this year - with herbs. The apple mint, chocolate mint, and spearmint plants sound woderful. I'd also like to plant basil. Got to get thinking about this.

Soon Grace we all will be playing in the dirt.

Checked date of shipment for apple mint - 4/9 - won't be long now the way time flies around here.

Hay there.

I have my rosemary and lavender plants but they are inside for now...too cold outside for tender plants. I have many more ideas of what to plant but don't want to get ahead of myself. I am ready for spring time!!

Grace a lavender in a mini garden sounds wonderful. I haven't been able to grow it here in my part of Texas but I've ordered one that is supposed to be heat tolerate - I'll see.

Daizy rosemary and lavender good choices to start with - I know you are anxious to get them outside.

My Jubilee apple mint is growing like a weed. Hope to have a lot of dried apple mint to share for our Apple Festival in Sept.

Joey my apple mint is doing good. The other day I rubbed a leaf between my fingers and I am happy to say it does smell like apples. In another week or two I will take my first cutting for tea & drying.

I planted pineapple mint at the same time and it hasn't grown much.

I potted a lonely "applemint' plant at our market today, and 2 mini roses plants,, all 3 were in the clearance isle,,,sadly waiting to be taken home and nurtured,,, so now they are with me,,, sitting on my kitchen counter,, pruned & cleaned up, watered and waiting for tomorrow to enjoy some much needed sunshine.

I have got to try the apple mint. The only herb I have right now is rosemary. I have a lot of catching up to do. I can't wait for spring to come so I can get going on a garden. If the apple mint is a butterfly attractor I am going to plant some in my garden.
