We don't have a lot and the kids didn't get swamped with presents, but we made it a Merry Christmas. I made Christmas cookies which the dog found while we were at my mother in laws on Christmas eve. Came home to find that he had eaten half the plate which I had worked all morning on! It was okay though.
I love doing the stockings and trying to find something new that will excite the kids. Nora is getting old enough she is starting to get interested in spa type stuff so she got a lot of that type of item. Nick got a new type of model that I hadn't seen before- it is a metal sheet that you clip out the shapes and put it together. It was too difficult for him so his dad ended up doing it for him.
My parents and two of my nieces came over to watch the kids open their presents and we are doing a belated Christmas and Early New Years tomorrow night when my other sister can come down from Montana
I game my mother in law a bundle of MaryJane's Farm magazines for Christmas and she was so excited! I love sharing MaryJanes farm with people!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
Merry Christmas from Nora, Nick, Zack, Josh and myself!
Alee - Love the pictures!! I'm a believer in a smaller, homey Christmas and yours seemed just perfect!! In this day and age of soooo much, I think less is often more. :-) Anne
