Well I showed the house today to the couple from church and they loved it!! They told me they would let me know in a couple of days if they were going to buy it but they just called (like two and a half hours after they saw it)and they want it and will try to start the financing on it tomorrow! I am so happy!! Soon we will get to start our new life in the country!!

High five, Shelle. I know you are on cloud nine right now; that euphoria will end soon enough when you start thinking about how many boxes you will need, ha!! Congratulations!! Nance

Shelle,

Congratulations!!! We are thinking of looking for a place with a bit more land to start a mini farm too. Let us know how things go.

Shelle, what's the news? Or did I miss another post that told whether or not you'd heard from the couple??

Tracey,

We sold the house to the couple from church last week. We are just waiting on their financing to come through but dont anticipate they will have a problem. Their bank is having the appraisal done next week so thats a good sign.

Our water well is half way drilled and they should have it finished up sometime tomorrow. My brother is going to put in the electrical box for our RV hookup this weekend so we can finish putting our stuff in storage and move out to the property in the travel trailer as soon as we hear that their financing is approved. We plan on selecting our house this weekend.

These links are to the floor plans of the manufactured homes that we are considering. The first two are new on the lot and we will get to see them this weekend. The last one is the one we fell in love with but we decided it was too big and not practical for just the two of us.

Wow Shelle- that was quick! I would definitely get the one with the officially named hobby room!! You just know a woman designed that one! :)

Karin,

I agree the hobby room is a definite plus!! The built in porches are a great thing too.

Shelle, you have my approval on any of the three, providing you get one of those enormous bathtubs! A girl simply must have a fantastic tub full of bubbles each night, in my opinion

We are looking at houses to put on our 10 acre farmstead we bought last year. My parents 160 acre farm was sold and we bought the 10 acre farmstead and tore down the house and corncrib last year as they were in bad shape. The third plan with the three bedrooms and den and walk in closets seems really nice to me. What brand of manufactured home are these? Which one are you going to have? It is really hard to choose. how many acres do you have?
