I'm back girls! I've been fighting a bout of depression lately and I'm in search of some goodies to start a project to get me distracted.
I'm in the National Guard and I've had to make the horrible decision to not re-enlist this December when my contract is up. It's a decision I've been struggling with for years and it's just really been getting to me the closer it gets.
I was blessed about a year ago with several yards of this beautiful fabric from Mrs. Mary Jane herself! I have to admit that I cried when I got this in the mail! I would like to possibly trade it for fabric someone else needs to get rid of, or possibly some yarn that is just collecting dust.
I've also got several other crafty items I'd love to throw in! Please ignore the prices!

Hey girls! Just a reminder I still have ALOT of fabric I'm willing to trade for anyone looking to destash. I've got these 2 beautiful prints! I've also got several paracord bracelets and keychains I can throw in as well!

I'm interested in nursery flannel/fleece fabric right now, but I'll take anything anyone is willing to destash! I am thinking about making a large scrap quilt as well. Just trying to keep myself busy and occupied ya know?
I'd love to send you some of the green fabric if you'd like! How much are you looking for?

Hello, I hope that you are feeling better. Major life changes can be difficult. Take care. :) I have some fabric that could be used to back your quilt. I have a spring green and a pink, both are a lighter weight flannel. If either (or both - I was going to piece them together fora quilt back, but when I brought it home, the colors didn't quite match.) If that won't work, let me know what types/colors of fabrics you are using for your quilt and I can put together a care package for you. Oh, and I'd love some paracord keychains! I've decided to make stockings my grown sons for Christmas. It's been a long time since I've done that and I think they'd get a kick out of it. :)

Thank you so much for the encouragement Kimmy. I turn 30 this year, and I think it's just a funk that I'm hoping to pull myself out of. I'm trying to look for the positive everyday, but some days are just harder than others, ya know?
I would love to use those fabrics for the back of my quilt. The more I get to thinking about it, the more I think I want to do a quilt made up of material I received from my FarmGirl sisters. I think it would make a wonderful story. I was feeling down, and honestly sorry for myself. Then my FarmGirl sisters from all over the states sent me fabric to help cheer me up. I love it!!
I would also LOVE to send you some keychains! How many sons do you have? do they like certain colors or can I send a variety and whatever you do not use for your sons, you can give to other friends or family that might like them? They are just sitting right now so I would LOVE for someone to actually use them! :-)

Hi Nikki, I sent you an email via the forum. I'm not sure how the notifications work for that so I wanted to make sure you kept an eye out for it. I hope you're having a good weekend! :)
