just heard (but not verified yet) .. that they caught the 'girl' involved in the robbery .. they believe it is the same couple that robbed this bank a few months ago .. they police even asked me if there was a 'girl' in the car.
sooooooooo .. i am sure she saw me and my antics .. and i am indeed thankful that i did not open the car door and attempt to lock him out or get his keys. don't know if she was in the car or in a 'spotter' car nearby.
when he turned and went back to his car door .. perhaps he was saying something to her. i will be curious to see if she was in the car .. if she did indeed have a gun with her.
i'm thinking that i probably gave her a few anxious moments too!
the lord blessed me that day!

What a great story, Frannie. I know I tend to hold on to or "chew on things" a bit longer than I should. My husband always tells me to "just get over it" but I tend to let things consume me far too much. A few months ago, I dealt with an angry customer for our business who hung up on me. I have this incessant "need to be liked" so this of course ate me up. I replayed that conversation again and again. What did I say that I could have said different? Could I have changed the outcome. When I finally concluded that this customer was just being childish and had responded poorly, I became angry. Anyway, it took a long time to just "let it go". So that is something I am trying to work on. I know people that get over things quickly and move on, are happier in life and I am sure the relationships they have improve, as they aren't harboring old wounds. This is my resolution . . . to hold more loosely to these things. We do have the power to "take our thoughts captive." Sometimes we just forget that! Thanks for the great reminder, Frannie. God bless you!

| Gee Frannie, your life is one adventure after another...so glad you're both ok...what will tomorrow bring? Loved the monk story, it's so true of most of us in life. Thanks for sharing it. |

Frannie, I read what happened to you to my family. They loved your explanation of what you did....it's amazing that the girlfriend, look-out, didn't shoot you or drive you down. You and your DH were protected by God. I'm glad that you got to go out to dinner & a movie afterward. You really needed some down-time!!!

I am glad that they caught the girl . . . hopefully they can scare her into giving up the guy. Well, odds are now that they know her identity, people that know her will be able to connect the guy with her. Usually once they catch one, the accomplices follow shortly. It makes you wonder what in their life was so bad that it would lead them to that. I mean even poverty doesn't explain this . . . especially with the government programs available. It is just so sad.
