Another meteor shower has begun and will continue through November 7. This Friday, October 6, will give us the best glimpse of it. It will be visible at midnight and will continue to leave visible trails in the sky. Keep your eyes peeled and stay with it whenever you see movement in the sky.
Sunday night, October 8, the Draconid meteor will cross pass with the Orionoid meteor showers making for some great viewing . Better Homes & Garden posted an article about the meteors if you would like more information.

Good morning Dawn and thank you for the information! Not sure how your photo abilities are, but I would love to see some photos if you can take and post some for us.

I only have my cell phone camera. We have a telescope, so I'll see if my husband (he's a scientist) can take some pictures with that. Of course that's providing it isn't cloudy!
