I have received such beautiful cards. Three more came from Linda, Ruthie Ann and Rebecca. My dining room looks great with all the beautiful cards displayed.

Marilyn, I think 1950's. Would someone let me know when they get my card. I had to make my own envelopes because of the shape. I was a little worried if they would machine them or not. Thanks!!
Marilyn I love the ole Thanksgiving store ads!

I love old grocery ads. Food was so cheap by today's standards, but it was not cheap to the consumers of that time...like my parents. I do remember about 1954 we spent $25 at the store and had 11 paper grocery bags filled with good things to feed our family of fIve to eat. After I got married we would shop for two weeks worth of food for two people with $15. Today it is around$100.

So sorry for the delay in thank you's. My cards lay un-opened due to health issues. I will try to set some time aside today and enjoy opening each and every one!! It'll be like Christmas with cards :-)

Katie, I hope the cards cheer you up and I'm also sending well wishes your way.
Deborah, thanks so much for your "Fall" pumpkin card I received yesterday, also loved the pretty orange envelope.
Denise, what a creative card you made and I adore the background paper with all the food mentioned, it was actually making me crave a piece of pumpkin or apple pie!

Thank you all for posting the card pictures. I have received these and they are just so lovely. We’re visiting my sister in law and I brought them with me to show her. She’ll love them too. Although this time of the year we focus on our blessings and giving ... the heart of the MJ Farmgirl exemplifies this all year long. I am so blessed to be apart of this great group of ladies. Mary

And I will add a note...Connie you could move to Texas where bigger is better! I love your big pumpkin! I often make things big. Some might say...over the top. That's when I pull out my Texas quote and then follow up with my teaching young kids story...little ones can not manipulate tiny. Now that I am older and my fingers become more stiff I fully understand their frustration with tiny! Hugs Connie!

Join the crowd Connie. Monday when I had to go out and get my friend (who can no longer drive) we were talking about our days to go to therapy, and doctor visits...when we figured out that Thanksgiving is next Thursday, oh my!!!! I have not even discussed it with Julie. Connie do you have any trouble peeling veggies with a paring knife? I had to stop cutting my husbands hair because of stiffness in my wrists and hands. Hadlee took over and gives a very nice hair cut. I spent yesterday, on the phone and computer, trying to figure out what we will do for health insurance next year. I have not been in the private sector in over 30 years, but here goes!
