I received my package from Winnie. Oh, how she spoiled me!
She gave me muffin mix, harvest mix candy and two kinds of tea for an afternoon tea break. (I at the candy already.) The dish cloth and a dish towel which was hand altered and made cute. A knit apple with a potpourri stash inside and a candle in a scented glass. The tags and everything were all so cute. Thank you so much Winnie.

I got a beautiful package in the mail from Julie today. I am in love with the towel and dishcloth. They look so pretty in my kitchen. I am heating water now for the pumpkin spice tea and chocolate. I also got a fun post card and it was all packaged so pretty.
Thank you Julie,
Yours in Sisterhood,

Hi Heather Got your package. The pumpkin face dish cloth is so cute and the fall colors dish cloth may have to be upgraded to a trivet on my Thanksgiving table setting.
I put your package in the mail this morning. The clerk said you should get it by Tuesday. Hope you like it.
I put the pumpkin face as a separate pix you you all can see the details clearly. Very clever Miss Heather!

That pumpkin face is extremely clever. I may have to write a pattern for it. Thanks for the detail picture of it Nancy.
Winnie, I will send yours on Monday. Lowell (DH) had eaten the chocolate I wanted to send to you so I had to wait until we made another shopping trip to get some more.

I'm so glad you like your dishcloths Nancy! I'll let you know when mine arrive. I have a flower dishcloth from a farmgirl that I use as a doily under a dish in my cabinet because it's too pretty to use for washing. I'm beside myself right now knowing you think one of my dishcloths is nice enough for your Thanksgiving table! Hugs,

Nancy, My dishcloths arrived yesterday. Thank you so much! What kind of stitch is the square one? I've not seen it before but I love the way it looks. Thanks for a great swap!!

Hi Heather Glad you like them. The square one has a few names. Scottish stitch (my personal favorite), Shepherd's knitting, Afghan stitch and most commonly know as Tunisian stitch.
It is a very easy stitch. You will need a long Afghan crochet hook. I made the main square then did basic crochet with a regular hook for the edging.

I have one of those hooks! It came with a kit I got to learn how to crochet, but I never got around to learning how to use it. Guess I need to sooner rather than later - it looks great. And dishcloths are the perfect thing to practice on :) Thanks.

That is a very attractive pattern, Nancy. I'll have to give that a try too.

Hi Heather Jill and everyone else.
I found a YouTube video that shows the basics for Tunisian crochet stitching. There are others but I like this one the best. As you all know using variegated yarn will make interesting patterns.

Denise, I received your package today. I love the dishcloth, I don't know if you can tell from the photo, but the design is a sunflower. The decoration is already up on my wall. The tea sounds delicious, and I know I like apple cider. The tea towel is much appreciated too. And such a cute card. Thank you so much for being my partner and thank you Julie for organizing, I always like the dishcloth swaps. :)

My swap from Marie arrived today and everything was so pretty! I love the colors and the stitch done on the dishcloth!! It is nice and thick as well and can work as a trivia or even a hot pad if necessary. I do love those yummy thick socks for boots. So warm and fit well inside the shoe. Marie, I do love dark chocolate of any kind and so my hubby and I are going to enjoy this bar. Thanks too for the fall teas. I love having a variety to enjoy in my cupboard!! Check out the pretty silver star made from paper. I am going to add a string for it and use it on my Christmas tree this year . So cute! Thank-you again for a lovely swap and I hope your upcoming move will be smooth and nothing gets lost or broken.

Thank you Winnie. The socks are Maggie's organic socks. They are the best.

Received some awesome gifts from Deb, She sent me a lovely big dishcloth in fall colors... just a perfect size for dishes and counter cleanup...some matching orange straws so I can sip sweet ice tea after washing all those dishes, some mini pretzel packages and candy to keep up my strength, and a lovely card.
She also enclosed special FGOTM gifts...an awesome Farmgirl purse, matching Farmgirl necklace and earrings and a Cowgirl Cuisine Cookbook to Cook up awesome food (which gives me a great reason to use the pretty dishcloth). . I’ll post pics of all these lovelies. Thank you so much Deb...you have a generous heart. Mary
