Thank you so much Marcy for my sweet package. I can not wait to read the book, those iron on transfers are my favorite, and I collect pin cushions, it is a great addition to my collection and looks fabulous on my antique Singer. The card is so sweet too. I sure appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Marlene, Thank you so much for thinking of me and sending the nice Happy Thanksgiving card. I love the painting on the cover as it reminds me of how God blessed us with some really delicious apples from some, semi-cultivated(?), apple trees that grow near us. Thank you again!

I want to thank Cheryl and Marlene for the nice cards I received. It has been a couple of tough weeks for me, and the cards were just enough of a pick-me-up to put a smile on my face. I lost a member of my furry family through an unfortunate event, my dad is moving to a senior living facility, and work is just crazy. Anyhow, the next week should be back to my "normal" state of abnormality. :-) Thank you ladies for thinking of me!

A quick note for everyone. . . we were hit with a huge storm and are still working on the recovery. I apologize in advance if I am lagging behind in replying. Our home sustained damage and there is quite a bit to do. We just got our phone and internet back this afternoon so I wanted to send all of you a quick update as to why I am not responding to messages as quickly as I normally do.

I want to put a big shout out to Brenda. Thank you so much for the various crochet patterns/books. It was so nice yesterday to find this in my mailbox. It was an overall dreary day outside, and I found just the thing to keep me busy...and in the house. There were a couple of doily patterns that really caught my eye. I think I'll try one of those first. There were so many options and ideas. I just luv, luv, luv them. Thank you.

I want to thank Kelly for the beautiful and really helpful book on Serigraphy! I love the fact that it guides me through making my own screening frame! Love it! And your card also! I can certainly send you cooler weather since we have already a frost coating!?! I haven't even close my garden, sigh... Anyways, thank you very much!
On another note, could it be one of you amazing farmgirl that send me this book?
It was directly in my mail box without any packaging or name. I asked around me if someone had send me this gift but since my friend and family are mostly french speaking... I thought that I might as well ask!

Jill, I received a lovely package from Canada yesterday in the mail. Love the thimbles. I took pictures to post but my camera and computer are mad at each other and I can't get it to transfer. So I can only say that the birds are great, love the butterfly one also. But my favorite was the Victorian one. I did not have any of them. Thank you again so much.

Well, as for the postal service... It could improve a lot! The only thing I can think of is that my postman delivered the package to a wrong address and the recipient finally decided to give it back to me...
