I've been waiting for this thread to open and am so excited to see it :) Many of you may have seen my post a few weeks ago about not being around for awhile... my children's friend lost her mother by her father's hands. It rocked our world, causing numerous questions and nightmares... so I took some time to focus on my family without all the extras. Anyways, the beginning of this month I received a surprise package... Debbie Fischer blessed me with MaryJane's new cast iron cookbook! WOW!!!! I have thanked her via email, but wanted to be sure to share it here as well! Thank you again sweet Deb for thinking of me!!!! It came at such a low time for us and has brought so much joy :) Thank you sweet lady <3

Ok...I will be the first. I received a special care package from Kelly (lovinRchickens) yesterday. Thank you soooo much! I was "buzzing" with excitement over all these bees. I've been working on putting together a scrapbook about our apiary, and this gives me more to work with. The card and personal message was touching as well. You definitely brought a smile to my face!

 I received a surprise package from Cyndie P. A beautiful journal with Dahlias one of my favorite flowers. I will carry the journal in my purse. Beautiful card too with roses on the front. Yes, Cyndie you did put a smile on my face and I thank you.

Oh My Gosh. . . we got home late last night and there was a RAOK in our mailbox!!!! 
Thank you so very much Carol!!!! I am in love with my new towel and hot pads. Perfect timing for all the apples I need to put up over the next week. Beautiful colors and they match our seasonal colors here in the mountains of New Hampshire perfectly!! Hope you enjoyed the batch of cookies you were off to bake that you mentioned in your wonderful note.

I love this book. I do currently make all kinds of tinctures, salves, and oils. But there are several recipes I look forward to making in this book. I am so happy you were able to meet her. I would love to meet her myself some day.

I received a wonderful book in the mail yesterday from Becky Riccio. Becky, you really nailed it. The Forager's Harvest really fits my interests. I'm really looking forward to reading it. Thank you so much. I had such wonderful mail yesterday, I also received a couple of swaps. I had had a long physically tiring day of working outside and it was so lovely to receive such a treat!

today in the mail I received an envelope with lovely craft or wrapping paper that looked like quilts and a wonderful letter as well from Jilly! What a nice surprise and RAOK. Your home is really a beautiful place, I was there one time many years ago. It is very beautiful there.
