Everyone who has signed up will be receiving an email containing the PDF with the full list!! There will be a tread set up for you to acknowledge ALL receipts of any RAOK you receive.
Pictures are encouraged but not mandatory. If at anytime you need to update your personal information, simply send me an email with the updates. I will then send out the updates to the others. Have fun and let the RAOK begin!!!
Hello Everyone!
Quite some time ago we use to do a RAOK (Random Act of Kindness).
Sending cards, letters and small gifts to those on our list. It was a wonderful thing to surprise a farmgirl with a little something by mail.
I remember how fun it was to see all the excited posts from the recipients sharing their surprise with all of us.
Wondering if anyone is interested in doing this again? If so I would be more than happy to create the list and distribute it to those who sign up.
Here is how it would work.
If you are interested in taking part, you will need to send an email to me sharing the information below. Once I have everybody's info, I will create a pdf to email to each participant.
The idea is to pick someone on the list and send them something that will brighten up their day. A card, a Letter, a small gift, you decide. It's Random. . . meaning you can pick who you want to send to. You are not limited to one person either. You can send to as many and as often as you like.
You will be required to acknowledge here on the forum the receipt of any RAOK received. This is sooo important!! It is the proper way of acknowledging a thoughtful RAOK. Even if you have sent a private thank you, you MUST post on the forum as well.
Here is the information I will need to create the list. If something does not apply to you or you don't wish to provide the information simply put N/A next to it. If you have an allergy, put ALLERGIC next to it. Okay, here is the list:

Okay, if you are interested, please sign up below and then send your information to me. Sign up begins today and ends on August 25th Extended to September 8th. This will give me time to make up the PDF and send it out to everyone by September 1st 12th. This RAOK will run from September through November December.

Joanna, I am not going to join.I just don't have time.
In the past year I have sent cards and small gifts to others. I do enjoy doing God's work...but I must work again and At almost 74, I don't have as much energy as I once had. So I will continue on my own, reaching out to those God directs me to. I do think this is a great idea. Y'all have fun!
