I was at the thrift store yesterday, but not for long because the weather was going down hill, so just picked up a few things, but happy I went. Will try and go again tomorrow.
Been busy all day, cleaning, re-arranging, which can get out of hand. Having a pot roast and mashed potatoes etc. for dinner, so will probably be laying down not long after that with my book.

Hi Nancy Jo -- Love your finds. I went to a couple of vintage shops yesterday and saw a tin just like the one you keep your hair clips in! At the shop it was 7.00, fyi.

I need to make a blog, too, so I can post pics of my stuff. Would be fun to share! I always enjoy looking at your finds.

Beautiful chocolate set, Nancy Jo. I'm having my morning coffee with a shot of cappucino in one of those cheesy styrofoam cups from a quick stop mart! I'm SOOO envious! :)

Janice, if you could get to my house you would be more then welcome to use my china. In fact I could probably find a nice cup around here for you to take home.

OOOHHH, what fun, Nancy Jo! Real, genuine, non-disposible china cups! Just like Victorian ladies. And I would bring my two teddy bears over to visit yours while we had our tea(or chocolate).

Oh my Goodness, The Chocolate Set is beautiful....I have only seen one other one and I wanted it so bad,,,I could taste cocoa out of it for weeks...Didn't get it.......Where do you find these marvelous things? I have not seen anything like that ever in a thrift shop, but then I don't know of many thrift shops around here....I just fiqured if the Public Library doesn't know who and what MJFarm books are, they ain't gonna have thrift stores.........

Margie,
That set was an extra good find, I think the total cost was about six dollars, they price everything separate, the cups were .79 cents, etc. Most of the time when I go there I find something to bring home, once in a while nothing. But I love to go. A couple more months and I can add garage sales to the mix. I could really use a covered dish then because I will be so busy.
