It's Me! It's Me!
No I have not forsaken any of you. I love you farmsisters. I have so many wonderful cards and aprons to brag about. And I promise I will get to it.
My computer was fried due to a strike of lightening and Farm Brother Big Buzz not disconnecting from outlet. Lost our laptop, TV, radio, and small chest freezer. For some reason when it storms it seems like my neighborhood is always getting lightening strikes. This is the second time we have lost a computer and TV. Hopefully hubby has learned his lesson. LOL! My younger sister who lives next door has lost 3 computers in the last 8 years. We all use Surge protectors, but for some reason we still lose.
Anyway please bare with me as I navigate my way around on this new computer. I need the help of a 5 year old. Does anyone have a 5 year old they could lend me? LOL!
Wish me luck.
I love all of my cards! They are spectacular!!!!!!
Grace, thank you for my bumble bee. Sooooo love it! I am putting it on a blue jean jacket that I have. For sure I will be looking rather spiffy. LOL!
Here comes Hubby with all of our Freezer goodies. So thankful that our neighbor made room for our frozen food and we didn't lose it. God is sooooo Good!
Take care, I love each of you and I will get back here soon. Have to run and make like the domesticated Goddess. LOL!
Hugs and Giggles
love ya, Deborah Horn Buzzn Bee

Thanks, Marilyn. I appreciate your offer, but I am sure I can finish them. I have a little more time than you'all, since I don't have to mail to me. LOL!

That's good Linda. Deborah, there are devices that can go on your power pole, they are supposed to help. One year we lost our computer, one dryer cycle and more. Then three months later the new computer, the electronics on the range,a cycle on the washer, etc. Of course insurance does nothing. This year our son lost a big tall oak tree and a 500# heifer calf. Lightening has even struck some brand new homes in our area.

Wow Deborah, I'm sorry you lost your computer but sure glad you saved your food! Our home (thank the Lord) has never been affected however lost an old tall pine that could have definitely done some damage had the wind been blowing a different direction. We were lucky on that one. Glad you're ok and every thing can be replaced and in the case of the new computer, learned.

Linda, I plan to mail my mini aprons to you tomorrow. Just so you know my phone has had a bad fit and I guess it is frozen up. It is a Samsung. It did this at six months. I sent it off. Then it sat for two years. Then nine months ago I began using it again. I guess it is just no good. So I have no phone or texting. We were blessed with 3 & 1/4" of rain this afternoon. God was so good to me today.

Linda, my package is on the way. I sure hope it does not pop open and leave mini aprons from here to Lone Oak.

Well mine are finished and packaged up to be mailed out on Monday...
I am sew sorry.... in the midst of packing up the house (my sewing room) I errantly packed my sewing threads and bindings... I had to use yellow binding on a couple of the aprons... :( and non matching thread..... :( I promise... my Christmas holiday ones will be much better.... Now where did I put my scissors? ???

Grace, that is funny. I lost my scissors recently too. So after searching, I went to Walmart and bought a pair of theirs, with flowers on the handles.. Then yesterday, while sorting things...there they were...the last "new" pair...rolled up in some fabtic!!! Yes!!! Now I have two pair that will cut fabric and thread!!!

I received Marilyn's aprons yesterday. Marilyn, you used something on yours that I am also using - you can probably guess what that is. LOL! Love the fabric - I think I have some of that - somewhere.

Linda, were there enough aprons in there? I was afraid of the scotch tape coming loose, but I forgot to take my packing tape along.

Ok Linda... mine went out in todays mail... if you notice my return addy is my Washington P.O. Box.... we'll both probably arrive there at the same time! Lol! actually our escrow closes on Sept. 8th and then we will be headed down to Palm Springs to visit with my mom for 4 days... then we will come back up here to Coarsegold to pick up our trailer and visit a day or two and then head on up to Spokane... So we will arrive around the 17 or 18... The minis will probably be in our p.o. box... but my daughter has the spare key and will be picking up our mail and leave it in our other camp trailer there on here property. I promise my Christmas minis will be super cute...

Well Grace, are you excited to move? I would hate to think about packing up my mess and moving. 25 years in one place with accumulated stuff...treasures. It would take forever.

Marilyn,, uber excited... but it is getting harder as I too amass 'possessions' that I can't/don't want to part with...lol!
Thank goodness, we should be all settled into our next forever (haha) home before the Holidays... so I can get back to stitching and gluing and painting what ever goodies I decide to make...lol!
