Happy 4th back to you Grace and everyone else! I need at least 5 more days before I can mail mine off. I had a glitch in our personal life that set me back a bit but they are almost done and looking quite 'suave' if I say so myself!

Diana, You are ahead of me. I have gathered fabric and lace, trims, etc. But I have not sewn a stitch. pain.Pain.PAIN!!! I find myself clenching the few remaining teeth together! So frustrating. Those family glitches do take our focus off projects don't they. Hugs!

Maryland! I am so sorry you are in pain! Is it from oral surgery? Are you using an alternate hot cold pad method?

Yes, extractions and oral surgery. It is better, and should be much h better by next Monday when we begin again. I have really enjoyed the quiet time. Lots of naps.

Spent today in Urgent Care with my oldest and tomorrow we have to take her for a follow up, 1.5 hours away. bleck! Thankfully she is alright... She dropped a frozen chicken on her foot... not so good when you have bone cysts! Anyways, If I do't get my aprons in the mail Friday, they will go out on Saturday :)

Oh Shannon, I know that was so painful for her. You do live in the boonies, although you have some neighbors. How is life with company? Are they excited to see the beauty of Wyoming?
I got busy and made my aprons today...but I cannot find d my stamps for the return envelope...so much for getting organized. I don't even have cash in the house. Oh well, if the stamps don't appear soon, I will have to stand in line longer. I am going to get the stitches out of my mouth tomorrow. Yea! Prayers for your daughter.

Ok Then... best laid plans are often broken....
Was not able to get up to town today... and our little Post is closed on Saturdays ...
I am taking the dog to the groomer on Monday... so I will mail the minis out on Monday...
but it only takes 3 days for my package to get to your house... so figure it will be in your mail box on Wednesday or Thursday ...

Mine too will not be mailed until Monday :( Sorry Linda! I ran out of bias tape, ran out of time, and am pretty sure I have allergy induced asthma. Not sure how I am going to handle the latter, as it is after milking the goats that I am the worst!

Marilyn - I can certainly try! Great idea. Thank you! I know I am allergic to alfalfa, so we are wondering if it due to my hubby filling the hay feeder while I'm milking and therefore putting the dust in the air that is flaring it up...

The hay and fertilizers could certainly be your enemy. My son is allergic to horse hair, but his love for them means he has learned to cope. He takes an assortment of things including Noni juice.

OMG! I just returned from the post office and have been opening packages. I received aprons from Deborah Meyers, Marilyn, and Darlene. They are so sew so cute! Darlene's are all the same and bee-ooo-tiful - I love them all, but Marilyn and Deborah - you are both going to have to make 10 more - I can't make up my mind which one I want, so I want them all! LOL! Just kidding, of course. Everyone will be so surprised.

Heading out in an hour to run into town... drop pup off at the Groomer...
Go to P.O. and then our local SPCA Thruft to drop off 3 more aprons that I made from pillow cases.
Then hit the market and go back to pick up the pup and head home before the heat knocks us over!
Only going to be 99degrees today...

I can hardly wsit to see all the cute minis...

The last 2 for this year are Fall and Christmas. You can get started now if you want. I will post the Fall swap in a little while - signups are smaller during the summer months. I guess everyone is vacationing. LOL!
