If anyone is interested in another altered file fold swap - our next one will be in celebration of our summer solstice coming up on June 20th!
Same as before, choose a file folder of any kind, decorate, embellish, paint it pretty to represent our summer solstice. Be sure to enclose the sides to create the pocket effect and fill it with some pretties that may represent summer celebrations and/or the lazy dog days of summer!
If interested, please leave a note in this thread.
Sign ups until June 2nd.
Mail out by June 9th.

Hi Mary! I received my summer solstice altered file folder yesterday, thank you! I was awe as I was opening it up, not only was it just beautiful, but... iris's have been my favorite flower for as long as I can remember, along with sun flowers. So the iris on the front of the file and the sun flower garden gloves were perfect. Not to mention, purple is my favorite color. Little song birds have always been special to me. I happen to have a little happy blue bird on my desk, that I've had for years... which turned into two... and I'm always attracted to the pretty little birds, so the song birds on the back of the file folder were just as special. When I was a girl growing up, Koala bears were my favorite animal, I had a rather large collection of Koala bears, everything you could imagine, I had it with a koala on it! So, your greeting card was crazy on spot. I was honestly in disbelief - it was almost earie, as if you knew the inner me without any doubt. I also loved all the other little pretties you sent, and the scrap book pages were darling, I will be using those this year as I collect summer memories in our family scrap book. And, always love my cookbooks, I have a collection of those as well, so I look forward to trying as many mug recipes as possible! Thank you for such a happy folder!! I will treasure it!

April, thank you the kind words. I knew you are a generous swapper and I wanted to make it special. It took me 2 weeks to decide on the Iris and birds, as they are things I love too. The Koala card was sitting on my scrapbook shelf and the little guy just kept smiling at me as I passed him every day. I think he just wanted to go and visit you!!
Glad you enjoyed your folder. This has been a delightful swap.
