I have learned so much over the last year here at MJF and via the special friendships I have developed with other fellow 'sisters'! On this eve of my first Jubilee celebration with you all I thank you for opening your arms wide and accepting me as 'one of your own'! I've met the most incredibly talented and giving and knowledgeable ladies here. I wish you all a wonderful happy celebration this weekend! may the aprons fly! HUGE hugs,

Yes, everyone - I hope you'all have a super Jubilee weekend. I have my Jubilee apron, all my mini aprons in a banner, and my flag (from Sara). I'm trying to edcide what kind of pie to have this weekend.

I wore my egg-gathering apron given to me by Karla, down to our neighbor's (Mike) house. Here he is helping me load up on his free-range (And I do mean free-range) eggs. The apron holds 15 eggs. My hubby took the picture.
That is Krissy, Mike's young English mastiff dog, sniffing the eggs. I guess she likes them!

Maryjane and Farmsisters,

Wishing you a Joyful FARMGIRL JUBILEE!

Should you see a bee buzz'n around you, please don't swat, it might be me looking at your beautiful Jubilee aprons and banners.

And should you feel a little sting, that is just me giving you a love pinch.

Have a great weekend!

Linda,

Brother "Big Buzz" said he likes all pie except for raisin. He said to just send pie his way. Lol! He also said to tell you, he will give your pie a special name.
"All GONE PIE." lol!

I told him, I would make him a mud pie. lol!

My favorite is homemade pecan or chocolate pie. No pie in the house. Guess I will have to go search out the M&M's. LoL!
Have a great FARMGIRL JUBILEE!

Hugs,Giggles and a little Buzz'n !

CEEJAY,

Debbie just explained to me what an egg gathering apron is. Instead of eggs that might scramble if you were to fall, how about I send you some mice to tuck in those pockets?
Guaranteed to make you scramble.

"Brother Big Buzz"

Oh yeah, Debbie said to tell you, that you look cute in your apron, or maybe she said, your apron looks cute on you. You decide.

Okay "Big Buzz" . . . send me cute little mice to put in the pockets! But not REAL ones, ya' know!

Mike told me when I left his place this morning . . "don't bump your front and smash those eggs"!

CeeJay,

"Big Buzz" is crazy! LOL!!!!

I told him to tell you that I really liked your apron and that you looked really cute in it. Leave it to him to add his editorial comments. Lol!

He came into my crafting coop and asked if I knew of anyone he could aggravate or agitate? Then he asked me what I was doing? Next thing I knew he hijacked my computer and saw your name. Need I say more? LOL!

Love ya!

One thing my hubby and I did to celebrate was to take our first drive up the Dolores River into "my mountains". It is FULL and MUDDY . . spring runoff has only just begun. At higher elevations (8000-10000 feet) there is still a lot of leafing out and greening up to do!

Deb, beautiful tea setting. Love the cup and linens. There's something about drinking tea from a pretty china cup to make us FarmGirls feel special. So happy you had a good day.

A belated Happy Farm Girl Jubilee!
I had to work extra this weekend but it did not stop my heart from feeling connected to all of the wonderful friends and sisters I have come to know here at the farm.
I did spend a few special moments Sunday with a cup of tea in honor of all farmgirls near and far.
Thanks to you Mary Jane for bring us all together.
Hugs Karla

What a beautiful tea setting, Debbie!! I am sure that raspberry tea was delicious too. Thank-you for including all of us in your thoughts for your Jubilee tea celebration.

This weekend a very special and dear friend of mine came down on Sunday to visit with me until this morning when she had to attend a nursing conference. She lives in Georgia and we don't get to be together much anymore so had such a great time talking and visiting our favorite places yesterday. It was the perfect Jubilee weekend event for me. She taught me to make jelly back in 2001 and we called ourselves Farmgirls before we ever knew about MaryJanesFarm.

I am so glad you all had a happy jubilee. I celebrated by having pneumonia. But I love the pillow, garden flags, and tea things. I'm better now but can't plant anything because we're having a cold spell. Guess we'll have to wait for spring

Me too, Grace!! The Jubilee celebration here at MJF is a great way for all of us to connect and celebrate this community that we love and share!!

A reminder to everyone that there is a Jubilee Badge that was put together for our first Jubilee and it is easy and fun to do. I actually created the badge and still had fun11 doing it. If anyone decides to do some of this badge, I hope you will share what you learned and enjoyed the most about doing it. We all love a fun post about how you celebrate an event and if you are able, photos are always enjoyed!
