yeah, I know, I'm about two weeks late. Story of my life. Everyone who requested cake decorating and/or sourdough starter has a package in the mail as of today. So many cake decorating requests I wasn't able to send much to any one person, but hope all of you can use what I sent.
Sourdough...is in double ziploc bags. It's quite thick, so I found it easiest to add a bit of warm water to the bag and squish it around until you can pour it into a container without leaving a bunch in the bag. Then you can add about the same amount of flour and within a couple of hours, it should be bubbling away again. Please ask any questions, several of our ladies are quite knowledgable and can surely be of help.
Thanks for your patience with me. And yes, my dining room table is now cleaned off and there's room for having a meal at the table.

When the the post office man asked about fragile, liquid, etc on the boxes, I laughed and told him the bank check box he was holding was sourdough starter and he said he could smell it. Said he'd been told his grandfather slept with the starter in bed with him in the old days, to keep it warm. My MIL said her mother and grandmother kept theirs on the shelf above the kitchen stove all the time.

My box arrived a few minuets ago. Such a variety of stuff. My kids had so much fun sitting there next to me. Going ohhhh we can do that next Christmas or wont that be fun for easter. I have one kid home from school allergic reaction to something 3 days ago and we can't get the reaction to go away ( swollen face , neck and rash all over her and don't know what caused it so this was great fun for her and the other is still recovering from a ruptured ear drum so two little sick kids think this was just the best surprise package that could have come. ( we are giving her allergy medicine but it doesn't seem to help at all) The one that likes origami is at school. But the other two girls knew exactly who those where for and said she will be real excited when she gets home to see that. Thank you ever so much you made mine and my little kids day. Take care and thank you. Sunshine

I don't think she has the mumps but who knows. Nope no cat scratched her she is terrified of cats and dogs and wont go within ten feet of a cat and 30 of a dog unless she knows it real well. It looks more like allergies my nephew gets like this when he eats peanuts. The rash make her sort of pink all over with little bumps, her nose pretty much has dissapeared into flatness as the rest of her face the checks are that puffy. I feel so bad for her she has been like this since Monday.I am at a loss as to what to do.
