Just wondering if anyone else gets attached to their bulls? We usually only have one bull and I manage to get attached every time we get a new one. This time, his name is Sequoyah. He is a beautiful Registered Red Angus 4 year old. Although, I just love him, we have to sell him to bring in a new genetic line.
He has thrown some beautiful calves. They are usually 75 to 100 lbs at birth. All just the richest red color you have ever seen.
Thanks, Lenora. He is a sweetheart. Not aggressive at all. He will come right up to the truck window and let me pet his head. I will miss him. We are hoping we can find someone who will use him for breeding. It's sad when such a good guy has to go for hamburger. Such is the life of a bull, though.

Handsome fellow! Hope you find a buyer. We have a few Longhorns, no bull anymore. He became a pain in the you-know-what about three years ago and we had him made into hamburger. We're trying to get out of the cow business so we have no intention of breeding our females. Hoping to sell them . . . we need a buyer too! CJ
