Your oven handle will love its new dress!

This cute kitchen towel hangs over your oven handle and dresses up your kitchen. The bodice features green floral twists and turns. The ties are strong grosgrain ribbon. The towel is double sided, absorbent and covered with lucky shamrocks. Lace finishes off the neckline.

$10 plus shipping.

Email me or comment on here if you are interested.

My daughter and I are making them to help her pay for her books at college in the fall.

Thanks girls! I love them. I have one for every season. We are selling them for my daughter to raise money for her college books. Books are sooooo expensive and we don't want her to have to put them on her student loans. We are going to sell them at craft fairs this summer. If you want one for a specific holiday, let me know and I can whip one up.

Thanks for the creative support! It's always nice to know that your creations are appreciated.

Sherone...

My son is in college, too, and I am overwhelmed by the expense of books! I can't get over it! And I thought they were expensive when I was in school! One thing that REALLY irritates me is that a lot of his $300+ school books aren't even used - they are primarily needed for the access code they contain to online materials. I mean, seriously: that is such a crime! Further, the school always runs out of the books within the first day of the bookstore opening - they never order enough, so the kids are often left waiting for the new shipment to arrive, which can take a few weeks into the semester. Absolutely disheartening!

I wanted to let you know that there is a website called Chegg.com where your daughter can literally rent books at a fraction of the cost. It's very easy to use, and a lot of the kids we know, including my son, use it, whenever possible. Basically, the student orders and pays to rent the book. They ship it right way, along with the return packaging materials, including a prepaid shipping label, and a return date deadline. When the semester is over, the student simply packages it up, slaps on the label and drops it off at the post office. As long as the book arrives by the deadline, there are no more fees. It's a really great thing, and a real money saver!

I hope this helps a little!

Hugs -

Nini
